Rimmel Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation mini review!

I am a huge BB cream wearer because I haven't found a foundation that doesn't make me look cakey. I have tried Revlon all the way to Lancome and this is by far the BEST i've tried. It makes your skin feel and look super soft and gives light coverage. But it's enough for me! I will definitely repurchase when I am out!

Cherries on Snow in... May?

I LOVE this candle and I forgot I had it. It smells sooo good. 

How do you feel about burning wintery candles in the spring? I have so many fall and winter candles.. but no spring summery candles.. I figured this was more appropriate to burn rather than Balsam cedar or Northpole.. I would much rather smell fall candles.. even though im so super excited for summer.. But cedar doesn't really go with hot days..

I need a coconut candle.. Definitely next on the list.

Sedona Lace 12 Piece Professional Makeup brush set review!!

Last Friday, Sedona Lace had a 20% off EVERYTHING deal on their website, so of COURSE I went for it! I have used BH Cosmetic brushes for the past year and I have not been happy with them. So I had to get Sedona Lace brushes when I saw the savings! 

I bought the 12 Piece Professional Makeup brush set and Black Out gel eye liner. And I am MORE than pleased with everything! These brushes are so super soft and blend so well! 
Brushes this set comes with: Powder brush 376,  Duo Fibre Brush 813,  Foundation Brush 727, Large Angled Contour Brush 850, Concealer brush 954, Medium Angled Shading Brush 407, Small Angled Brush 561, Large Shader Brush 941, Tapered Blending Brush 863, Pencil Brush 904, Eye Shading Brush 305, and Eyeliner Brush 772. GREAT variety of brushes.

Let's just say they are definitely amazing like I thought they'd be. The gel eye liner is great too! It's my first gel eye liner and im very happy with it. It is VERY black and I think its very good for beginners like myself. I use it with the small angled brush but will be trying it with the eyeliner brush too. 

It also came with a FREE gift!!! A 4 color Eyeshadow Palette with a mini EB 13!! Beautiful, soft shadows.

I purchased these brushes Friday and they arrived on the following Monday! SUPER fast shipping!! 
I am VERY happy with my recent purchases from Sedona Lace and will be repurchasing from them again and definitely will recommend them..

Spring Favorites *2013*

Welcome to my first ever blog!! I wasn't sure where to start, so I thought that sharing my current favorites at the moment would be the perfect thing!!

First up would have to be the Too Faced Summer Eyes palette! I am obsessed with the colors and i've been using everyday since I got it a month ago! But I do recommend using a eye shadow primer before applying these shadows. Here are some swatches(I used the NYX jumbo eye pencil in MILK before applying). 

Next is my foundation combo I have been using. I dot the Revlon Photoready BB cream and the Revlon whipped foundation all over my face and use my Tarte foundation brush to blend it all in. I like to use the bb cream with the foundation because I find that this foundation makes my face a little dry, so mixing them together gives me the BEST foundation. I would say its light to medium coverage. Not too heavy for this spring weather! I also use the Revlon Photo ready concealer and apply it to my problem areas. Its not FULL coverage, but it sure does cover enough! Who has perfect skin? (If you would like to see how I apply it, let me know and I could make a video!)

I haven't been wanting a lot of product on my skin lately, but when I do, I use only this highlighter! Its a tad pinky and it's shimmery so it sort of acts as a sheer blush too! I apply this with my finger tips lightly on top of my cheek bones.

Lastly is the L'oreal Telescopic Shocking Extensions mascara. It is my NEW all time favorite mascara!! I used to be obsessed with the Covergirl Lashblast, but im pretty sure this mascara took #1!!
